SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER - South - basic 30k plus car and bonus OTE 40k plus

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for a packaging and engineered components for the South West of England. The position will report to the Divisional Sales Manager and is home based.
Role
The main areas of responsibility for these key roles are;

-Manage personal working platform and develop new accounts through leads or prospecting new customers, as well as developing new business at existing accounts.
-Managing existing accounts by overseeing all current and upcoming projects. This includes contact with tech centres, plants and customers, discussing service, quality, costing, pricing, samples, testing, tooling and other issues. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and personnel.
-Take responsibility for pricing accounts, finalising most prices and implementing a pricing strategy to improve added value.
-Assist in marketing the company"s full range of products to customers, using specialist sales/product managers where appropriate. Provide necessary information for publication articles and assist trade show exhibitions
-Participate in community relations, environmental and recycling issues etc.
-Contribute to Sales force management and productivity improvements through the preparation of information including; Weekly activity reports, working platform reports, sales projections, customer information and CRM details, expense reports etc.
-Stay informed of changes in industry, materials, processes, pricing etc and market strategies organisation and capabilities.
-Other duties as necessary

Key requirements

-Degree or equivalent qualification/experience (preferably, mechanical or production engineering)
-Proven track record of a number years in packaging/engineered component sales.
-Experience within a plastics manufacturing environment preferable
-Demonstrates ability to handle the entire spectrum of account management activities, including product design, costing, pricing, new business development, quality and service, negotiation and resolution of issues.
-Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work autonomously and within the greater business team
-Numerate and with good analytical and PC skills.
-Safe driver & willingness to travel

Our client is offering a basic salary 30k plus car, OTE 40-45k laptop, mobile, working from home, private medical, life insurance and pension.

The role is covering south west england so ideally you will be located in Dorest, Avon, along the M4 corridor to London.
