Location:South Lincolnshire QA Manager/Technical manager
Salary: 30k - 40k +
Quality Manager / Technical Manager with Fresh Produce or Foods.
My client based in the South Lincolnshire area is looking for a Quality Manager / Technical Manager for their site.
Main Duties:
Identify Technical Key Performance Indicators
and agree targets with customers
Develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans
Manage specifications etc using Retail customers Technical Library
Drive and manage Supermarket accreditation within the supply base
Co-ordinate and develop reporting and communication
Co-ordinate and manage New Product Development initiatives
Provide product support for Retail customers depot quality team
Provide product support for the Operations Team
Manage and interpret Quality data to provide management information on quality performance
Manage and interpret Quality data to provide feedback to suppliers
Analysis and production of reports i.e. wastage
Provide cover for Quality and Technical Team roles
Person Specification:
Ideally, experience in a Fresh Produce Supermarket-facing Technical or Quality role -Agronomic or agricultural background
Experience with fresh produce in low and high care is essential. Ideally you will be a Quality Controller looking for your next step, then this role would suit you. My client is working with key clients such as Marks and Spencers, and Asda.
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Be thorough and methodical in approach to tasks
Possess good administrative skills
Computer Literate
